It's actually not a thrift or yard sale find.
A wire stand for standard records from 50's, certainly without the records but in good shape. Also found a pile of photos from A-U monarchy through 40's to 70's. All for free, somebody found it useless and threw it away.
Translation of the inscription on the monument reads:
Here stood S.S. Maklakov's small house that served as the base of guerrilla group of Major Krylov in the fight against the German occupiers.
I heard it from someone who was soldier in attendance service and garrison phone had locked dial, but not the handset and commander always wondered high phone bills, allegedly.
