Really wanted to have a go at this open road that needed some love but was afraid to spend over 75 after the sketchy discription of "cracked" on the inside http://www.ebay.com/itm/381173740512?ssPageName=STRK:MEDWX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1435.l2649
A good rule of thumb when you are in between sizes is to go up because it is much easier to make that hat fit rather than stretching and possibly screwing up a smaller hat
I have a black sheep custom on the way to celebrate the birth of my son but he decided to come before the hat was finished. Here is Reid and myself in my cane rod maker custom
I have just completed my first order with Black Sheep and I can already tell you I will be buying multiple more from Bob. He has taken immaculate care of me and the sizing kit and felt samples were great service. I got to see ribbon and felt examples in person rather than on a computer screen...
Thanks for the kind words about my Strat. It seems I am always unhappy with the pictures I take with it though because the way the brim looks. It is not directly creased below the pinch and it leads to some weird looking photos from the wrong angle
Supposed to be negative 10 here today. I may not even open the door, and may use the 4th consecutive snow day to re-shape and steam some of my hats. Wonderful hats so far today men!
I don't have the experience with all of these max holds you guys have used; Iron Society holds my hair in perfect shape so I have never needed anything more firm
