    jacket linings and carrying experiences

Hello all, New to the FL and enjoying the varied discussions immensely! I have seen "carrying" mentioned a few times, but was wondering something regarding lining material and concelled carry problems. Obviously, I DON'T wish for this to become a pro-gun debate, but rather sound advice...

    And Another Happy Highwayman Owner

I agree with Southernway, being fairly anal about expensive jackets myself, but IMHO, if you know (going into it) that AERO jackets are hand made, made of leather that has it's own unique anomalies, and is therefore NOT stock cookie-cutter product, it makes these concerns (albeit quite valid)...

I can understand Lenny's concern about the lining........ mine isn't perfect either and does have a fair share of pilling, but it's sound and doesn't detract. I guess it's a matter or just how off the seam error is. If it compromises the integrity of the actual seam, then it's a concern. If...

Aero Cheyenne issue – defect? expected?

damage or character? Very nice coat. IMHO, it comes down to whether you expect your jacket to always look smooth and new, or if you aspire to the comfy, broken in look. I can tell you that once broken in, your leather will be more grainy and wrinkly overall, so this "defect" will only be a...

Very Cool! Very nice. I just picked up a used black FQHH Highwayman from Aero. Never had an Aero before and was amazed at the thickness! I have jackets from Vanson, Taylor's Leatherwear, Schott and a few others, but this FQHH is darn near bullet-proof....literally! It too, came with a nice...
