Fortunally i have a lot of work to do so i'm at work even today that is Saturday, and to go to work i wear an old crappy jacket....the funny thing is that the ugly jackets i use at work are the ones i use more. But i'm a machinist, and working with machine tools you can't wear your best...
There are some interested guys but, as it should, before doing a purchase it's a good thing to wait a bit to be sure. Waste the money it's not a good thing. So i'll wait and see what will happen. Anyway, at the moment the jacket is still available.
I hope i didn't do too much grammar errors.
Monitor, if you usually wear 40 i think it should fit you very well. My brother wears 44, he tried this Aero and he could almost wear it.....but it's too Ramones style on him, and it's not the right jacket for that kind of fit.
I'm 1,71 m and i weight 55kg, and for me it's way too big. I wear 36...
You're right, Monitor. I was thinking about the measurements and i forget the price...
So, the 1950's HALF BELT brand new is 660 GBP that is 755 euros more or less. I think that for a jacket in this conditions 350 euros could be an honest price. Of course offers are welcome. Feel free to ask...
I repeat : the jacket is a 1950'S HALF BELT
Into the right pocket there's a labael where you can read :
NO 62656
SIZE 38
MAKER a signature that i can't understand.
Writes are made with a blue pen.
I took the measurements with the jacket laid flat on the table.
From pit to pit (from...
I tried to edit but it isn't possible to modify the title. So, now a request for the moderators :
could you edit the title please? The model is the 1950's HALF BELT and not the Highwayman. Thank you in advance and sorry again for my mistake.
You're absolutely right! I just checked on Aero website and it seems it's a 1950's HALF BELT!!!! I'm very sorry and a bit embarassed for this.....my favourites are Schott, i don't know Aeros so well. Anyway, now i'll try to edite the title. And then i'll take some measurements.
I'm selling this awesome jacket just because it's too big for me. The conditions are excellent, no rips or tears on the leather and in the lining. Just gently broken in by the previous owner, a 50 years old guy that bought it brand new.It has the White and Yellow label and the uncommon...
Hi everybody! I'm selling this very nice piece of history from my brother's collection.
It's a late '70s Schott Perfecto 618 size 46 in very good conditions for its age, it's just used, not abused. Time and use have given it an amazing patina.
It's a very rare model because it's one of the last...
You're welcome, Monitor! I've just checked mine that is a '90 618 and it has YKK main zipper and the ones on the sleeves are IDEAL. The buckle is the same as yours and the buttons are Schott branded. Of course it has the underarm footballs that had been introduced around 1980 (my brother has a...
Very nice piece, Monitor!!! Good luck for the sale!
About dating the jacket, as a very big Schott fan, i try to help :
the style is very closer to my 1990 618, they used that buckle since '86 if i remember well...another thing to look is the label in the coin pocket : if there is a code (once...
Thank you very much Duck!!! You're a very kind person too!! No problem for the questions, i think it's absolutely normal to ask more detail possible when you're buying a garment and you don't have the possibility to try it on.
Many many thanks for your positive feedback Scott!!! I'm very happy that the jacket fits!
What a story for this jacket : was made in Scotland, been 22 years in Italy and now it's in the USA. Maybe it's happier now because its new owner speaks its language.
At the end i have to say that...
The jacket is still on sale with a lower starting price!

Very nice topic!!
For this night i'd like to wear my late 70s Lee Storm Rider but maybe it will rain so i'll wear my favourite : my 1990 Schott Perfecto 618. I really love it, for me it's "the jacket". If i could i'd wear it even when i go to sleep. Sorry but i have no pics.
So, reading a bit of this topic, i'm not the only cowboy boots lover.
My favourite are the Spanish made Sendra. I really love their aggressive style and are very well made. I have some pairs with snip toe (cuervo) and cuban heel and one with squared toe and west heel. I add the chain to all of...
Thank you very much Monitor!!
So the WK is not a bad jacket...but the Harro you suggested are awesome!! I did some web searches and they did really good stuff! I found a lot of interesting models! My '90 Perfecto 618 will always be my favourite but i'd like to have a cafè racer style too, just...
