Nice Milan, Josh. The ribbon seems to be hiking up a bit from the brim brake. Might need a tiny stitch to hold it in place. ;)
Piuma, I bet it flew just like one, huh Robert? Glad to hear it didn't get damaged.
Yup, that was me :D
I was watching that Marathon closely, didn't pull the trigger 'cause I have one, virtually identical to which I might switch the ribbon to something like yours. Glad you got it!
I'd say Cuenca. Weave looks a bit coarse to be a Montecristi, also the folded brim edge might indicate it's not. A nice and good looking llano weave panama, I think is what you have.
Optimo is not exactly a retail shop. They specialize in custom, made to measure hats. They have--this is at their south side location, I haven't been to the downtown, new one-- a lot of hats on display that are there to guide you, to let you try different fits and styles. If you happen to like...
Thanks, Josh. The color is fantastic ;) and the felt on this one is the nicest from all the Vagabonds I've owned including my Vagabond King. If it weren't for 2 small moth bites under the brim, this one would be pristine.
Thanks, zetwal. I'm still curious--but certainly not wanting to start another dramatic series of posts-- about how long did it take for David's hat to arrive. David, you around?
