All right, I know I'm a few weeks late on this question...
I must have missed this one before (it has been a hectic summer), but HatDoc do you mind posting the dimensions of the crown and brim (or Art, if you remember)? I'm hoping to pick up an unblocked panama next time I'm in Ecuador, and I...
Congratulations!!!
Wow, that is a knockout. I was really going to keep bidding on this, but I have a couple of panamas getting re-blocked at Optimo and my wife wouldn't give me an allowance for all three hats.:eusa_doh:
Color me envious...especially since it is a long oval. Really sharp...
Yeah, but you do get a lot of love from forum members on your hats!
If the OP looks on this board they will find tons of glowing reviews of your hats. Your website can always be fixed, but if your reputation with your product was poor it would not be so easy to fix.:)
Slight threadjack...
Any chance on extending this auction?
I was unable to post due to the site being down since Sunday, the 17th, otherwise I would have put in a bid for $170.00.
The flag code is interesting...
More folks should read it. That link you posted (thanks) did have a supposed quote from Geo. Washington about the origin of the stripes and colors.
I tend to take that with a grain of salt, though it makes a good story. Most agree that the colors come...
That Antiquorom collection was amazing!
I downloaded the catalogue, but I should have tried to order it...that is the most amazing collection I have ever seen privately owned. So many of those could be considered a grail watch, and any one would consider themselves super-fortunate to own...
Hit 20 years active duty earlier this year...
Active duty Coast Guard; enlisted in 1988 and served aboard a Cutter out of Portsmouth, VA.
Then went to yeoman (clerk/typist/pay specialist) school and was stationed at HQ in DC for 4 years (we are the only service with our HQ in DC...little...
I love me some 'Que
I grew up in the Tidewater area of VA with family in Eastern NC. Every year we would go down around the 4th of July and there was a pig-pickin' to benefit the local fire department. The dad's would stay up drinking beer and tending the fire, and sometimes someone would...
I've never heard of Rolex making batteries[huh] ; I'm guessing you could take it to any local watchmaker and have a new watch battery put in for not very much money (a very easy operation!). If it has not been changed in a while, you might want to get it taken care of soon, as batteries can...
Wow. There are a lot of nice hats among those pictured I would love to have. (Oh tax rebate...where are you?) You are like a dealer walking into a methadone clinic (no offense intended).;)
Nope, the orange flight suits gave way to blue flight suits for the CG years ago, and then we made the switch to green flight suits  just like everybody else about 5 years ago.
I won't throw out the blue ones I have, despite the wife's insisting on it.;)
That is a great dive watch from Omega (the 2254.00, I believe); easy to read and I love the sword hands more than the skeleton hands on the Bond Seamaster. And black goes with everything!
Lucky you as this watch is no longer be produced by Omega as they move at expanding their coaxial line of...
Well the grass is always greener...we are moving to having all the eng instruments go glass and we are hoping for the rest to follow. Still, it beats working for a living.;)
Where do you fly the MD11 out of, and where does your line go? That is a very nice plane, BTW. I like most of MD's...
1st, let me apologize as this is the 3rd time I've posted this pic...
But I have very few pictures of me in uniform.

I love the Orion and Neptune, and I'll bet the A-3 was quite the change (mission and engine type). Good for him...looks like he has his ear cup off his ear talking to his copilot, maybe getting the run down before the flight (I'm guessing it isn't after the flight as there are no tell-tale...
