    These are not sanforized and what is called "shrink to fit" You buy them large and give them a soak or wash and they shrink both in waist but mostly in length. 2-3 inches are common.

    Hi Alex. I size up 2 or 4 in the waist regarding of fit. Now I prefer looser fit and higher waisted trousers with a belt. I do the same when it comes to length depending on the fit I want.

    This is pretty much what I'm going for on my new half belt. Being able to cinch the waist in the warmer months while being able to layer during spring and fall/winter.
