Filson tin cloth pants and bibs question
Whatever you do DO NOT wash any thing made of "tin cloth." Even the oil finish tin cloth will shrink if the oil finish is allowed to wear off or dry out. I'm talking serious shrinkage.- Doublegun

Bought my first real fedora at the store in Oak Park. A Borsalino "Como". Most recently I took a "beater" acquired from another FLer to the shop for a new band and a little TLC. "Joedehat" took care of me. Never had an issue with HtH and I hope they are around for another 100 years... -

I've got a closet full of Filson - just love the stuff. Whoever said, if you don't need them you won't want them said it well. They are like iron and will wear your legs raw without a base layer. What's the Right Hat for fishing?
Find an old "beater" like this Marathon and make it yours. There is no "right" hat for fly fishing but you'll look like you a stooge with the wrong one (i.e. you'll look like you are trying too hard to look right). -

Custom Hide briefcases
