Thanks Feraud, he calls it cream. I wanted to shoot it outside on this glorious sunny day,without flash. I'd say the 3rd pic is very close, maybe a bit darker, but not much. As far as dimensions go: Open crown is right at 5 1/2 inches at its highest point. Brim is 2 5/8........22 ligne terra... -

I definitely have to agree with you Frank. I'm actually going through the whole process you speak of right now. He's even promised me that I'd have it in time for my Birthday on the 13th.
