Resistol San Antonio Kings 50
This was one of my "grail" hats. The felt is as nice if not nicer than Stetson 7XCB from that era, though not quite on the same level as the 1950s 7XCB western I recently acquired from Harv. It is one of my favorite hats, cattleman crease and all.
I have an old Dobbs Westward that is in great condition. However, the plastic tip liner has hardened and has become quite stiff/inflexible. Does anyone have a fix for this? It makes quite the racket when I put the hat on or take it off. Any input would be much appreciated.
I really like it, Harv! But Anthony is right. It seems to look best in a cattleman crease. I've tried a fedora type crease and not in love with how large the brim is in comparison to the crown with that crease, but looks perfectly acceptable in a cattleman crease. I love the felt and it will...

Man that is the truth! I seem to gravitate to a certain few that are my favorites, but I love being able to choose from a large number of options. So, I either need to buy more real estate or sell some hats! It is just so hard deciding on which ones I want to part with.
