I put together an inventory a few years ago - but won't disclose how many in case my wife reads this post. I haven't tracked the ones I have parted with - only a few regrets though. I am trying to downsize to the ones I use and wear regularly, with only a few "special" ones left in the...
Great combo. I have have carried Glocks personally and professionally for nearly 30 years and have no complaints. The G-30 (had one, but switched to the G30S) is one of their best!
So making an unnecessary negative comment is acceptable, but a new member politely suggesting that another poster not bring off-topic comments into the thread is over-stepping his bounds? I think I understand.
Great hats and pics yesterday and thanks for all the kind words! Today is my Heritage Grade Silverbelly Camp Draft (the hat-only photo shows the color more accurately).
Akubra “Bobby”
I picked this up recently on ebay and had never heard of that model. It is still offered by Akubra, but not in gray and there seem to be no real style differences from the current one. It is an older hat and a size 59, and while I have gotten away from most 7-3/8 hats, I hoped...

Nice hats all around today!
Seven Akubras and counting - four CDs, 2 Bushmen, and a older "Bobby" western-styled Akubra being refurbed at Texas Hatters - yes, we all have a problem.
Joao - some of the older Resistols (especially OR styled) had the name on the sweatband. The Resistol closest to the OR (IMO) was the San Antonio, but I've also had early models called the Saddler and the Wide County, both similar to the Open Road (these same names were later recycled by...
Great hats and caps all around yesterday!
Today I am wearing my “mystery” Byer-Rolnick-era (late 1950s-early 60s) Resistol. While it should likely be the San Antonio model, the sweatband is actually marked both “Fort Worth” and “Pecos” – and it was sold in Minnesota.
