Good point, my thoughts exactly at first! I thought about it and stopped by the antique store after work today to confirm. Indeed I do believe it to be sweat stains but from another hat due to stacking. I put another hat over the crown of this one and the sweat band of the other hat perfectly... -

Thanks for taking a look. I spent some more time looking at all the hats offered and what has sold. My target is hat from the 50s (match form I am looking for). I contacted the owner but it looks like they offer hats from the 60s to 80s mostly. I never did understand why these small hat shops... -

The Dobbs Diner...
While looking at some vintage dobbs I came across a newer hat. I was wondering if anybody knew anything about a "Chelsea"...I don't know much info from the seller but crown is ~5", brim ~2", fur felt, ribbon band, color is dark sage (almost black). Sorry for the poor pic. Thanks. -
