Living in SoCal I rarely get to wear my new Vicenza (Dark Seal) Board Racer so I'd like to expedite the break in process. I'm hoping that I might get some tips from the FDL collective.
Ultimately I'd like the jacket to be a bit softer and hopefully a bit looser. I do receive compliments on the...

This jacket has VERY light moto armor in the shoulders and elbows. All zippers and buckles work fine.

Purchased about six months ago, worn only once on dry pavement. Regrettably these nice Italian handcrafted shoes are just a bit too small for me.
As depicted below the are marked 'Italy 6.5" which I take to be a UK measurement which does convert to a U.S. 7.5. For reference I typically wear a...
I'm selling a nice moto jacket made by Dianese. this is the most expensive of the 3 or 4 Archivio styles, called the "Ace Cafe". I paid approx $699 for the jacket about two years ago. Now they are selling for $500-$600.
I didn't wear it often as the sleeves were a bit too long, and then I...
Hi Carrie, I'm in the process of replacing my Vicenza Board Racer and I'm wondering about the various linings.
My previous BR had a lightweight OD green cotton lining (living in SoCal) which I was happy with...nevertheless, can you post up some side by side pics of the other lightweight cotton...
Let me apologize in advance for the pics... I can't get PhotoBucket to upload the edited/cropped pictures...
This jacket is a 34R, However the sleeves have been shortened approx 2 inches. My daughter wore it for several months but it has been closeted for the past several years in a smoke free...
Yes, I did post them prior (yesterday I think) but I had some trouble with some of the pictures so I ended up deleting the post after approx 10-15 minutes.
Not to hijack the thread, but I am leaning towards the BR...Dark Seal Vicenza w/ shoulder gussets and a spread collar. It has been...
I've just tried two fit jackets from Aero. The first was a Cafe Racer with gussetted shoulders. The second was a Board Racer w/o gussetted shoulders. Both jackets were size 38.
Below are pics of both fits. They are both too long, but the difference in the chest and shoulders size is apparent...
I'm drawing up the specs for my Aero Board Racer (Vicenza) with gussetted shoulders and have a question regarding the sleeve length. I'm not planning to do much more than drive the car and shake a few hands, so I don't want any excess length.
Peacoat and Fanch advise to have sleeve end "halfway...
Hello Carlos 640. You recently posted a pic of a jacket in a thread I started. Can you tell me specifics of this jacket? It is the second pic, with the full action back....

OP here...
Thought I'd resurrect this thread and link it to another FDL thread discussion regarding different style action backs.

FWIW I'm leaning toward the Aero "Route 66" with shoulder gussets, but...
I very rarely wear my two piece German "Ergo" leathers because they're too hot most of the time in SoCal and because they have the Power Ranger look.
Having said that, I never venture out without dedicated riding gear. My typical outfit is either a one or two piece Aerostich Roadcrafter suit...
