That's probably why they make people veeery aaaaangry :p
This is the whole point - Their recourse is PayPal, who isn't doing anyone a favour with a policy necessitating the senseless destruction of any item. I don't care if it is counterfeit. The buyer should simply prove they mailed the...
It is still no reason for the item to be destroyed. Take a "real life" example - I was no expert on head vases when I decided to start a small collection. I went to an antique market and bought one from an "acclaimed expert" who sold "only REAL vintage", only to return home with it and...
I took one of those tubes you put in the beauty box, and I adore it! I often put it under MAC's Bombshell (a true pink) to give it an extra glow. :)
As an aside, I gravitate toward Lady Danger every time I go to the MAC counter. Maybe I should just pull my finger out and buy it lol
It's normal to lose a bit more length than you expect when you first do the cut, since you're putting in new layers. Now that the cut is established, though, give it a trim every few months to get rid of the split ends and it will grow as long as you like :)
Excellent point, and the most glaring of several glaring problems with this idiotic policy.
I noticed in the Regretsy comments that many people mentioned how PayPal has no right to demand a buyer destroy an item. However, the buyer's hands are bound - If they want to get their money back...
I've had a few problems with PayPal in the past that have jaded my opinion of them - Now I'm just appaulled. I fail to understand why the buyer could simply not provide proof that they mailed the item back to the address it came from before recovering their money - Why in the Sam Hill would any...
Cut the sides! The tapering is what gives it an authentic look. Also, with this angle, the fluffier your curls are the better, so you'll like how your sets turn out. (If your curls are much too fluffy, add some pomade.)
Congratulations, I'm very happy for you! :)
I have a suggestion for a compilation that fits your description. It's not period music, but it's beautifully romantic: Werner Tautz's "Sweet and Swing". You can listen and download it at this site (search "Werner Tautz" and click on "Sweet and...
I don't honestly think so. It's natural to feel a bit down after returning from a vacation or time off - You've gotten used to relaxation and "me time," after all! It's not hard to guess that you aren't looking forward to getting back into the swing of things with work, which is why you don't...
By all accounts, this is true - It gave her face an especially luminous quality on film, and many of her directors and co-workers noticed it, notably Whitey Snider, her longtime make-up artist.
I've never read about Liz doing this, though. It's not a very smart thing to do, especially if you...
(I know I'm not participating in this round, but) you took quite a few of the things I put in there :) Flirt Alert was my favourite lipstick for a long time. Tell me what you think of the texture!
Wow, the tutorial lead to that? How beautiful! :)
I hope everyone is wiggling the instructions to suit them - Me, I never do it the same way twice (usually ending up with more layers like you, Lenore!)
I think hair and make-up is what makes the look most of all. I can go out in a roll neck sweater and leggings, but with my face on and my 'do did, people think I look "dressed up" or "very retro". It's interesting.
You forgot to mention the most interesting aspect of their closure - Sears bought them. Eaton's was always a little more upscale than Sears, though - I think the last generations of the family just didn't care enough to keep the stores updated and fresh, which is why their clientele plummeted...
In my opinion, these people are simply inarticulate. The train of thought is like this: Kate Middleton's style is classy-classic, while Kardashian's is classy-trashy (meaning she has lots of money, but dresses like trash). Youth of today is expected to flaunt it until they've lost it, when...
