I'm not a big poster here, but I wanted to give a huge shout-out to Mark Fisher & Norshor leather. I currently own two jackets made by Mark (his most recent creation pictured below), and I can say that his work is absolutely top notch.
I own many leather jackets...Aero, Himel...
Just some absolutely fantastic research here! And the styles....good lord! If only someone would start to reintroduce some of these garments. The only people I've seen doing anything like this recently is Freewheelers in Japan.

In response to the thread query, I would say my vintage style was 'rekindled' a few years back as a response to the current tastes of many of my work associates. I had embraced vintage clothing...in fact...vintage...
Well...regarding the "shabby boot look", it's a thing these days. You either embrace it, or revile it. Personally, I think that certain styles of work boots actually work well with a little less TLC, but not to the point where they've been neglected beyond their useful purpose.
