    Wal-mart.....Black Tie Only??????

Oh. Man. That's just beyond words. You said you've never been to Wal-Mart? That is amazing; how I wish I could say the same! I can readily concur with all of you who wonder about what "casual" has become. I live in the FL panhandle, my home is about one mile as the crow flies from a...

    Ghosts, anyone?

The paranormal has always fascinated me. There's too much documentation to discredit ghosts altogether, but I'm still undecided as to exactly what they are.

My new Adventurebilt Fortune and Glory fedora...

Thanks all for the compliments. I wore the hat out and about for the first time today, and I still get floored by how well it fits. Yes, I asked Steve to wait on making mine until it came in. It's the original 39mm dark brown grosgrain with the bound edges. Wonderful ribbon, feels as good as...

    Women with Muscles

Chiseld "womyn" are not attractive by any stretch of the imagination; or at least, my imagination. Athletic? Sure. But rippling with every step is something that's hard to stomach.

How did you find the lounge?

I came here from Club Obi-Wan. The Indiana Jones hobby showed me indirectly just how fine the Golden Era was. I haven't gotten into the hobby full swing yet, but my first fedora should be here soon. :fedora:

    Cleaning an old canteen?

Just to clear it up, here's a shot from the website where it was bought. And many thanks to Biltmore Bob, CasaBlancaChuck, and Wolfmanjack for their suggestions. Wolfmanjack, I plan to start on your procedure tomorrow; though I'm underage for the final step. ;)

    Cleaning an old canteen?

Hi all. For Christmas a few years ago I received an old canteen that I'm guessing is from WWII or soon after. It's the old metal kind with a green cloth sleeve that fits onto it. I'd love to use it when I go geocaching, but the water always tastes of metal coming out of it. Is there anything...

I've played some of Call of Duty II at different stores, and though I'm not an expert on WWII, the game is amazing IMO.

    The "Indy" Comebacks...

Well, the newest adaptations that I've seen of the Sherlock Holmes stories have him as being a bit more contemporary-looking, so she might not have been a complete half-wit. ;)

    Dr. Michael Savage

As angry as Savage can get, what he and Limbaugh, Hannity, Reagan, and the others in their field do is simply analyze current events as they see them; never requiring anyone to listen.

    Dr. Michael Savage

Yeah, he is over the top, but that's one reason I like him. Another thing I appreciate about his show is that he doesn't always stick to politics; his anecdotal stories are pretty good.

    Dr. Michael Savage

I was just wondering if anyone else on here listens to Savage's radio show. I've found him to be the most independant-thinking man in talk radio. I finished his book Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder recently, and thought it made some excellent points as to the state of the US. Please no one...
