Thank you, moon. Have you gotten a boater for yourself yet? I didn't think I'd like them for the longest time, but I really enjoy wearing them now. A perfect summer hat! :thumb:
Wow, jd. Those are incredibly kind words. :yo: I am honored by the compliments. It's taken me a while to...
Thanks, all. :) We're having a wonderful time. Some family members have a place here, so we get a free pass for a week. We're pretty fortunate.
The ferry had some paper towels and a water fountain, so I first wiped the "mess" off, and then I dampened a towel to remove the excess. After...
Taking a much needed vacation with the family in Oak Island, NC.
Yes, we're keeping a very keen eye on the waters for sharp toothed creatures...
Dobbs Milan...
During a ferry ride to Fort Fisher Island, a very pesky seagull did some business on my Stetson lightweight!!! Argh...
Beautiful hat, Alan! I recently gave one of my customers a Brooks Brothers straw hat very similar to that. It too had a low crown and silk pug. He always comments on my hats when I'm at his office, so needless to say, he was very appreciative, and I'm happy to get someone interested in fine...
Steve, beautiful "Extra" and velour!! :thumb:
JamesC, that's a really nice homburg. Thank you for sharing it on the 'Lounge!! Welcome to a great forum full of wonderful hats, clothing, and more!!

Great job to Matt and Stetson for reviving a classic quality!!!
I feel that it looks best with a suit. Just MHO. I've worn mine with a blue and a grey suit or light sport coat to jeans and a wrinkled dress shirt. I would refrain from wearing sneakers.
Just converted this Knox Premier (I'll likely post more in the Conversion thread) with a striped ribbon. Navy and white stripes. Came out great!
Two years ago, I would have never thought a boater would be heavy in my rotation. Now I love them!
