Thanks ladies... I just think that I have a dumb look on my face. duh-her. Hahahaha. I set and slept in hot sticks for this. Well they are the heatable pillow rollers. I left them in to long though and my hair was too curly. :) I was hoping for more wave.
Here is how I wore my hair the other day. I seriously think I ate a bowl of ugly that day... my face is bloody pudgy and fug! So ignore that look at the hair.
Try the thrift stores... I find gloves there all the time and for cheap too! I like to use the leather or pleather ones for driving. Cotton for acessorizing.
I have curly hair too, though not as curly as yours. For me, this L Turner style is easy to recreate. What I would do is use a flat iron to straighten out my hair first, then I would spritz a bit of setting lotion to my hair and then set it with hotsticks or pillow rollers. Sleep with them over...
