I inherited my dads. At the time, it kept this 6'1" 175lbs frame nice and toasty thru the PNW winters. But we don't have near as cold of winters as the NE.
Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately I no longer have THAT bike or the pants, but I do still have the jacket and helmet.
Same bike a year later with a few different modifications. Jacket here is a Triumph Belgrave. Photo taken from the same corner of the Isle of Vashon TT.
Not today, but really about 5 years ago... I just recently found an old photo of me at the Isle of Vahon TT (a vintage poker run here in the Puget Sound region) floating around the interwebs that I had no idea of.
Me in my Vanson Comet:
What Edward said. Check in with Carrie. I know they do some alterations, I just don't know to what extent. They did a beautiful job replacing a broken zipper pull and mended a hole that was starting to form in one of my hand warmer pockets.
This is what I like about my Langlitz, the front sits higher as to keep from pushing the collar into my neck and longer in the rear to provide protection from the elements when I'm leaning over the tank of the bike.
Hopefully you can see it here, it's very slight:
Great jacket. It only gets better with age. ;)
Getting reacquainted with an old friend. This jacket and I have been in a relationship for going on 10 years now.
Cool and dry today, ideal for motorcycling, so its Langlitz Timberline for me again today.
Though you've already seen it, I feel every post deserves a picture. :D
Thanks, man! The belt is Langlitz. I held onto it when I sold off my pair of Langlitz "Western" britches. ;)
The sweater, is on sale right now via 9mcvintage.com
No jacket today, just a sweater while working from home. Going to get to 90* later today and I've got to run some errands later in the afternoon, so the sweater will be coming off.
My new Kytone "Sailor" sweater. Unfortunately, their XL is a little more form fitting then I like.
I haven't got too many, but a half sleeve on my upper left arm (my artist packed up and moved to the upper peninsula of MI after completing; sucks), a bracelet of skulls (my first at age of 18) on my left wrist and a couple I regret on my right bicep (been considering ideas for a cover-up)...
