Very much whiskey flavor, with a Stout smoothness. At 6.9 abv it is very drinkable and holds a head longer. One of the best of this style that I have had.

Boonville, .Ca. has their own dialect called Boontling. Combinations of Gaelic, English, Pomoan, and who knows what. Makes you madder than a can kicky blue tail ( Boontling for rattlesnake).

Whoever thought of aging stout in whiskey barrels, is a genius! The Beaver grizzly just seems to match the texture and color of the head on this stout.

Do you think the quality is still there with IS? I sure like those eagles. I have always liked a tan or light brown with green tops.
