Grays
When you wear a gray hat with a gray suit, Make sure the hue, or cast is similar in both grays. Bluish grays go better with navy, blue, black, many times gray and sometimes green. Warm grays go better with brown, tan, and olive green.
I think a lot of it is a numbers game, and your environment. If you are in a cosmopolitan environment, a larger city or in a certain scene, the chances are much greater for an individualistic or unique dressing style to be appreciated . Also, if you are comfortable in your own skin in Vintage...
Its always nice when a journalist states in his intro "I'm no fashion Guru....." and then proceeds in his body to give us fashion and personal style advice.
LOL! I think the more cosmopolitan the city is, the better the odds are for most Loungers. Also it helps if you are already in the same environment that will attract like minded people. I think Higher Education is a wonderful way to meet people, and make long term relationships.
