    I think moisture is trapped between the two pieces of leather on the cuff and causing bubbling. I’m pretty sure the bubbling is moving around and diminishing. I’d think it would go away entirely but will report back.

    To say 5* horsehide is mall quality is just inaccurate. Thickest Pull-up horsehide is what I asked for. To call this mall quality leather is absurd. I may not have handled Shinki but I’ve been to the mall and you won’t find anything like this there.

    This is exactly how I feel, but I also don't have experience with "high end" makers. I've only dealt with Schott, Vanson, 5* and Cal and I like my 5* the best because of customization (including sizing and design) and price.
