Thedi is still in business, we met him in August during the holidays. Him, his daughter and Petros, his son in law were indeed a lot on travel (US, France, etc.).
I totally understand that it may be unsettling to you, but there is nothing to worry with Theodoros. He is a man of honesty and my...
The leather is actually black in normal light and has no brown tone whatsoever. It just appears a bit brown on the phone pic. Seal Jerky would be dark brown, right?
Dear Carrie, thanks a lot and @hjv2 my apologies for my negative answer. Seems you were totally right. The seller told me he thinks it is Vic. In the end it doesn't matter too much, I asked rather out of interest to understand the differences.
In real light the jacket is full black though.
Quick question to the experts: is there a way to determine whether a vicenza is black or blackened brown?
I bought a second-hand aeromarine and would like to know what exact leather it is.
In the button holes, one can see the leather is not dyed through, but I have not experience with Vic.
Yes, the hide is much more rusty brown than red in real life and has a fantastic touch (kind of thick, oily and clean at the same time. Difficult to describe). It was fortunately too wide for me and (I think) is only a sample. Unfortunately, Theodoros doesn´t have that hide currently.

The hide is fantastic and by far not so flashy in terms of colour.
Hey Marc,
I see Thessaloniki was productive! Combining this with a cappuccino at Ergon, what else you need.
I literally tried that exact jacket on both times I visited Theodoros and Alexandra this year. It is a stunning jacket and hadn´t I bought the cossack in water buffalo... Well you know...
I have to revive that thread as it was the only one I could find on that specific jacket.
Can anyone comment on the durability of the OR-4002B jacket? How does the incredibly soft hide actually perform over time? Is it very delicate or does it take some beating?
Also, what hide is it really...
I am 100% with Adam K on the shortening point. Given how much the sleeves are creasing, I think they would strongly profit from a at least one inch of shortening. Then again, I don´t like my sleeves being too AT ALL. To me, the optimal sleeve ends at the knuckle of my wrist.
Very beautiful CR and spot on fit. Really like it a lot.
The deerskin from Thedi is stunning (I had actually tried that jacket on when I visited him in June this year). The stretch in the deerskin comes strongly in one direction of the hide and is indeed quite substantial.
I ended up buying a...
You mean a new brand from 1979? ;-)
It might get the attention it deserves now, but Thedi Leathers is anything but a new brand (unless I misunderstood you).
