Felt? Steam it. Any Tea Kettle will suffice; about half full with water. I use a papertowel tube and on the end wrap a piece of tin foil to narrow off the tube and make a neck with an opening about the diameter of a pencil, stick it in the kettle opening; slightly steam and fix it up.
Now that is a very fair price for that Whippet, I've been away for a while but back in service now. I sure hope you found a good home for it. Oh, and thanks for the compliments on the photo shoot. I enjoy taking pics of lids.

I don't follow vintage suit prices but must admit, I did not think it would have sold for that much. Where can a guy get 40's suit with a 52 L Jacket, 38x34 pant?
