Catch & release on these amazing, beautiful Nick's Roberts. They are a very true to size 10.5D, and therefore just a little too short and even slightly narrow in the heel area for me. I wore them in my house for ~ 1 hour with two different types of socks, just a bit too tight!
Purchased on...
I thnk it looks great. Good fit for a first try indeed.
THere are many highwayman threads here, you can search and review those too.
Welcome and cool username too!
Not sure about Lost Worlds' tolerance specifications for custom ordering. I knew Aero is ~ +/- 0.5"
When I ordered a LW J23 from Stuart back in 2016 (over the phone) he was quite curtious, and was less concered with measurements from other jackets, but quite curious about both measurments from...
Who would do this to an innocent Harley Davidson crosszip?
At least for now it's only $10.00 Size "38"
Good opprotunity if someone wants to make thier own vest, I suppose.

TartuWolf - I like seeing anyone younger than myself interested in leather jackets. So in no way should you take any of the constructive feedback here from any of us as discouraging. It's great you love these jackets & hats and I hope you are able to find that perfect jacket soon.
I find...
Crown zippers are quite smooth - at least the spring-loaded #10 main on my J23.
Rest of the smaller Crowns are comperable to Talon repros on my other jackets
Do be advised that some Crown zippers are not "pretty" to look at (mine are dull grey) but solid in function.
So I own and enjoy a Lost Words J23 that was ordred by a member here with several upgrades. I will upload photos of it but they are around on this site already. This specific LW J23 has Crown zips and the same rayon lining as the Easy Ryder, which if purchased today would be ~ 1k in upgrades...
Here is a link to their website showing a rather similar Thunderbay. I had to look it up as I thought it was a longer button-up model. Indeed not: https://www.aeroleatherclothing.com/mens/thunderbay/mto072
It is a short jacket. I don't think one of these would work with my fairly long torso...
So unfortunately, this photo hits a little too close to home for me.
I lost my birth-father earlier this year. He had to wear a man-purse similar to this everywhere he went, usually around his shoulder and not over the neck as shown here. This is what occurs when you're diabetic, and have...
Actually I was really having the same thought!
Literally looks like and '80's Mall jacket that was re-dyed and sanded, given a poor artificial aging processing and then sent to the shop floor. Not a purchase I would make...
@Edward - thanks for the very comprehensive history there on Lewis! Always good to see solid knowledge, especially from someone with access to them so close by.
I do indeed like the Corsair & Dominator models - (that huge 1-piece back panel is amazing) and they appear to be very well...
The have quite an extensive history. I have tried but never suceeded picking one up, and much like your observation, I have had good luck with Aero & other makers (Vanson, Cal, Lost Worlds, etc) for less cost.
Don't know if this is an endorsement or not, since I have never handled one...
