I was off the forum for a little bit, so I wanted to go back and thank all of you for the generous comments following my Boater Week! Thanks so much!! Everyone has been looking mighty fine!!
From my personal collection, this medium grey Borsalino Savoy is tough to let go. However, you know the feeling, you keep looking at it on the shelf, "Maybe I'll wear it tomorrow". I've been saying that for at least a year.
This hat made it to me from another 'Lounger a few years ago. It...
I came across this Lee hat recently, and I was smitten by how beautiful it is. This is a Black Label "All American", very fitting for this hotly contested election year! The grey (very pale blue) felt is thinner than a slice of NY pizza, very light in weight, with a nicely executed 1/4" narrow...
Neither did I. They're awesome hats, and they really command attention in public. Super nice Stetson!
This Wormser is a very fine hat!! I love the wider brim. Superb!

Thanks, Bob. This might be it! It's definitely late '70s early '80s. The lapels looked wider in the Etsy listing, so I'm glad they weren't too wide. Wide lapels can be cheesy, but these work really well with this pattern.
I definitely plan to wear this quite a bit! :) I walked in my...
Cavanagh Boater Week, Day 5
I just received a new summer sport coat from Etsy! The pattern looks so much better in person than it did in the listing! You like?
Scene from Boardwalk Empire...

I'll send a recap at the end of the...
One of my favorite hat combinations! Roy Hobbs' father (The Natural) had a hat with a light ribbon like that. I've always loved it.

Thanks for the advice, Perry. I do like the hat, and I definitely want to keep it. If I couldn't re-use the thin ribbon, I have a nice 1 1/2" silverbelly ribbon I purchased from bond a while back that would look great on it. I'll take your comment with strong consideration. Cheers!! :)
I've had this Stetson OR for around a year now. It's too small for me (7). I had every intention of re-sizing it. However, with every hat I "wanted" to re-size, once I got them in my hands I realized how nice they were, I didn't want to turn them into something else.
This one probably sat in...
