    Only one guy ever made them and I think he made just a handful of them. I was lucky enough to get one from his test run. I don't think he has any more, but I will check with him. He's a really good guy. FYI, my Jeep is a '44 MB, as well!

I can't believe that subsequent generations now vilify Truman for dropping nukes on Japan. History always needs to be judged with a period perspective, not a modern one.

    Thanks again for the info. It'll be interesting making one of these in O scale but not outside of my ability. As the other poles I made and done and painted, I guess I'll need to make a third one, but I have the castings for the cross arms and plenty of dowel material to make a third from.
