Nearly brought Mrs Karl to Howth today for brunch except the carpenter we'd hired to do some cabinets was fashionably late. Ended up in Clontarf instead, holding on to my Barbisio as we walked the bay wall path afterwards. I'm not from around here so there's always something new to see. -

It's really comfy to wear, but I want to take care of it, so need to buy a decent brolly. The problem here being wind. Destroying brollies, blowing off hats. -
Leather sweat band care?
I have to admit I've used the same leather conditioner that I use when conditioning my italian leather sofa, just a drop each time I've got a used or nos hat. I thought you were supposed to condition them. None have seemed over dry luckily enough. -

Isn't there something about akubra sweatband quality in general that might cause this? I mean I'm not saying sweats should be guaranteed for gasbaths but they do shrink or expand in general, oddly. -
