Thank you Fox. You are part of his Lounge circle as a new but regular contributor to this thread. I was lucky enough to know him in real life as well as on FL.
Stephen had about as many WPs as I have in my collection.
Chaps, I have some sad news for you. STEVIEBOY1, a regular contributor to this thread, has passed away. He was in remission from cancer but it unfortunately returned with a vengeance late last year and I’m afraid that he died early this morning. I used to meet him for lunch quite regularly in...
I shall read that. I am not a Friedmanite because I believe that his brand of economics is too doctrinaire. Hayek is a far more subtle liberal thinker. There are, however, a few surprises in Freedman, notably his support for basic income (aka citizens’ income), which is usually associated with...
Fox : Trinity brother meaning Cambridge or Oxford?
Arnold: That was quite an adventure and I am relieved that the sweater (and you, Sir) survived intact. I absolutely love the sweater; if you do make it into a cottage industry, or even something even smaller-scale than that (a closet...
I would be L or XL depending on their sizing. … I shall be interested to see their new pattern for the Staithes. I also liked the look of the orange and greys - and I like the rollneck a lot, a bit like the submariner sweater.

Fox:
I usually wear WPs /Commandos with patches and overall I prefer them both for style and durability. However I also have a few of the Patchless variety and wear them from time to time.
@Peacoat : I just looked and there are 18 Navy WPs in Size L with patches and 5 with Patches and shoulder straps/epps.
Their website is a mess however. They keep changing it and each new version is worse - a bit like our current succession of Prime Ministers.
