The Schott name certainly brings out a wide range of emotions., especially on this platform. You have the “bury me in my Schott crowd, the indifferent crowd and the “they are not that special or flat out disdain for the brand crowd. I own three Schott jackets and a fourth went to my son, so I...
Been watching this one for awhile, but I am trying to hold out for a Schott 118 but rarely do they come up in my size. This Branded seems nice but never owned one.
Putting out feelers for a Schott 118 size 48 or 50 with the more modern cut 26” back length or 28” in the Long. The modern pattern is usually with the “Arrow “ leather care tag, which they started using around 2008-09 I believe. Not 100% sure but I believe that is correct.
I struggle to find a...
I am gonna need you to pay me in full, in return I will give you a moving target for a completion date and then sprinkle that with some excuses. Things happen as we all know but that level of arrogance is hard to stomach when you are operating at this level. I have no dog in this fight so...
I saw several members hear talking about the Natel being well built and thick leather So I took a chance on that one. When I received It all that was true And more. It’s size 50, and the measurements appeared to be what fits me but it was too short And overall too tight for my liking. Also, a...
I tried it and just didn’t work for me so I returned it back to the seller. I saw that photo of the right sleeve but once I received it I honestly do not remember seeing a repair or bad spot. Maybe I missed it.
Showing some love to my Reed Sportswear today, just a simple design and is very well made in the USA. Photos do not do this leather justice as the rich brown naked cowhide is so soft and buttery. Reminds me of my Schott with the same hide.
Recently acquired this made in the USA Harley Davidson Shovelhead that came dangerously close to returning. I received this jacket and the condition was not what I was expecting, very dull and seemed not cared for at all. I had to remind myself it was a 25-30 year old jacket that had stories to...
Thanks, I recently acquired this Legendary . What is not pictured is elbow panels and pre-curv sleeves. As for panels I agree it has a fair share but then they used big panels on the back. This jacket is another Schott NYC private labeled for Legendary built in 2006.
The Vanson I am looking at has the same style label as the one you have posted., which appears different than other possibly newer models . Any idea on the age range? And yes, that jacket looks to be a fine example. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, I know on the label it says ”medium weight” and after research I believe you are correct with the Firenze . And yes I do like the naked cowhides for sure.
I ride motorcycles of all types, street bikes, dirt bikes etc. but my favorite riding is dual sport or adventure riding. Which lends itself to wearing purpose built textile jackets and pants that are abrasion resistant and waterproof. I wear my leather when I am road riding but also I wear...
Thanks for the insight on the Vanson, seems like a good jacket and I could have it at a decent price. But unless the Vanson is over the top and clearly superior to what I have then maybe I will pass. The Schott 141 I own is hard to beat in my mind both in style and leather so maybe that’s my...
I have a Schott 141 in Naked cowhide, probably my favorite hide of all my jackets. I also have a Legendary USA cafe racer built by Schott, not sure but I believe it’s made from the Schott Steerhide. Now I have a Vanson AR2 original cafe racer in ”medium weight” in my sights but have never owned...
