What I discovered today was the Horween Metropolitan. What an amazing leather! It is quite thick, about 2mm. But it feels like your lady’s skin, has a powdery, plush touch, even tempered, doesn’t form sharp folds, and strong.
I have a bundle here. It is very very similar to the Aero Jerky HH, even smells the same. I cannot say for sure if it’s the same as the jerky could come from Italy.

The mythical brand Durable, has anyone seen photos/specimen of their other jackets other than the "Brando" jacket? I have only owned one specimen and it was the Brando jacket, pretty beat up and now no longer exits (huge regret).
Jon, I can’t help but notice in two of your posts with three/four photos, the one photo with arm raised is in a different jacket? Some photo shows no belt, shirt cuff, some photos with zipper cuff with belt/half belt.
Excelled, the short stubby collar, thick stiff coated horsehide, glue on label, I have two sitting on my floor, half taken apart, a brown and a black. I particularly like the chevron yoke flight jacket they made.
Thanks @Monitor! Yes, the collar and lapel are a big detail I'm focusing on, as well as the athletic back taper. Currently I don't have the luxury to use uniform thickness leather, so the panels are made out of very different animals lol, 4oz goat that's thick, plush and pliable, 3.5oz Italian...
