I think you can comfortably keep it. It is well within range of looking and fitting good. My notes were more to "future proof" the jacket some. But looks great and definitely not worth all that hassle to add a little bit here and there.- TooManyHatsOnlyOneHead

on the racer, easy fix. There's an elastic band that runs across the back which provides the tug to keep everything together. The elastic either wore out or came off. Help sizing Schott 141 and 641
Size down 2 in 141 if you want a snug fit. I had a size 40 with a 42 chest and a tailor took out a good chunk of material to get it snug. I didn't own 641, but because of the gussets, I bet you can size down 1 for snug fit or tts for a regular fit. These are if you're buying new. No idea on...- TooManyHatsOnlyOneHead

WTB - Leather Bomber jacket 40/42
I think the fashion world calls these "bombers", basically the knit waist, collar, and sleeves. I've seen suede jackets with the knits referred that way too.
