    White residue on the inside of collar of leather jacket

    Gents, Anyone has any idea what this is? Salt from sweat from my neck? I can remove most of it with just a dry towel and some rubbing, note the leather is pigment finish. Had a similar thing on a full aniline black Vicenza, but there it was not residue but complete discoloration.

    The measurement I gave here were taken from the Aero tag (see attached pic) I measured it now myself (shoulder seam to shoulder seam from the back) and it looks more like 17.75"! Keep in mind that as others mentioned in this thread, you can go lower on the shoulder to shoulder and the sleeve...

    This is my first experience with pigment finish, but up until now my preference was to see the natural character of the leather, and a layer of paint finish hides it. Why do you prefer pigment?
