    Looking for expert opinion

I loved my Thedi. Even though it was horsehide, it never felt crazy stiff like others I’ve had. It was a button-up one and easily worn with collared shirts and even ties.

Driving in leather jackets. Seat belt abrasions.

I always take the jacket off in the car, and use the heater.

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Love all the older Toyotas, this one is a bit large for me, but it’ll do. :) I not a fan of the new massive Tundra, etc (Channeling a bit more Larry David than Christian though)

Is that Dustbowl modified? Looks like a Premier collar… There should also be a significant front drop on that model. If I were to get an Aero, it would be a Seabiscuit for the collar!

It’s not very big…and your wife could use it too. Think of the garments and decor you could create for the young’in.

A lot of us dream of making our own jackets…very few have succeeded. If you can’t handle the enabling- get out now! :p

They were originally low. For my jacket they were moved up to the 1/2 belt where they function as they should. I feel the low adjusters and “pot belly” were the flaws in the OG pattern.

It’s actually a 2013, I love the 1st gen Tacomas, but a buddy did me a real solid with this one. Now I need to find a shell.

I think the darts could be shorter for leather.

    Five Star Leather Jackets

Darts are mostly used to add contour for breasts, narrower shoulders, slender waist, hips, etc. I really think reaching out to a local fashion grad student might be helpful. Maybe someone on Fiver could also be useful…. Waist is 38in… (19 x2) I know you are well down the road on the 1/2 belt...

    Five Star Leather Jackets

I get 15in. Be careful using darts in the front of a jacket…might look like a woman’s. I have a military shirt where someone brought in the shoulders with darts, but they stop at the shoulder seam:
