    That one is calf hide from shinki. It is my first jacket in calf hide actually. I ordered directly at the workshop and went through a mock up. Not sure you would get a good fit otherwise.

    Yeah, I was never at the right time to get one of their boots... so I got a pair of natural slippers. Most used leather footwear I own lol I use it indoors only.

    That is an interesting question to answer. I tend to find the most fun part is to plan and spec the jacket. That means that a jacket ordered is “complete” in a certain way freeing me to spec another jacket. That might be the reason I don’t mind waiting, my thoughts are already taken by the next...

    There are no generic leather jackets, they all come with a name one way or another. You as the customer decide if you want to pay for that name or not. The owner of the name will charge what he thinks that name is worth. The market will decide if he is succesful ot not.

    This for me as well, I place the order and forget about it. When it comes, it comes. I cannot imagine waiting with baited breath for months on end. On the other hand, excitement is right back when you have to wait for the delivery lol I got used to long lead times by now... as long as I trust...

    Wow! I didn't even notice your misgiving about the fit. It looks so good it transcends fit. And it is not bad fitting at all, just a few details that are easily glossed over with such visual impact. I will be there as well if that were to haapen. @torfjord , you would better not sell it...
