What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Exactly. The garbadine weave makes for an easy to wear and long lasting fabric. Plus the word itself has an exotic, mystical ring to it.

I’ve had this one for well over a year. Caught at a bargain price of $24.99. Can’t beat a deal like that for such a cool gabardine jacket.

PYPSA vintage button up with just enough Rockabilly swagger. I shouldn’t be attracted to this jacket but the freak in me is. https://www.ebay.com/itm/154721197110?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=pDQus1tJTdS&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=EY9BVxGkSP6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

You should post it in the “How about that vintage western look” thread as well. Some great stuff in that thread also.

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I’ve tried to stay out of the vintage outerwear thread for a good little while to try to keep the $$ disease in remission. But I’ll stick my toes in with these 2 recent purchases. If I get brave enough I might post a few more. Whew! I did it!

    Clarks Desert Boots Lately

I did this just a few weeks ago to my Clarks Bushacre boots. Greatly improved the wearability. Just need 3/16” eyelets and eyelet/grommet setter plus a leather punch for the hole.

    Hatbox Homage

Picked this one up a few months ago. Sinton Hats is one that I am unfamiliar with. I like the larger boxes that’ll store multiple hats. Throws my wife off on how many I’ve actually got.

    Show us your TIES

…. and my latest acquisition a few days ago this Rhynecliffe “hand made with the dots” hand painted buckaroo. It’s built like a 30s tie but could be 40s pretty much NOS.
