The dark moss VS today. It hardly ever gets any head time. The dimensional brim drives me insane and I don’t like wearing my brim down. It was my first custom hat, I didn’t know any better. It’s a shame, I absolutely love the color and the feel of the felt. -

This was at John’s of Bleecker Pizzaria. It’s in the west village in manhattan. Some say it’s the last place with a coal oven in the city, but I know Lombardi’s has one too, and I’m sure it’s older. Atmosphere was cool, pizza was fantastic, even my vegan wife was able to eat (pasta/marinara)... -

Thanks. I actually lived on Bleecker many years ago, above the Rock n Roll Cafe, and have never been in John’s. Lombardi’s, I would’ve said, was always my favorite. I’m hearing they may not be as good as they used to be. Gonna have to find out. -

So today I stood in line on the streets of Manhattan for nearly an hour, drizzling and windy as heck, to get into a pizza place. Ordinarily I’d find another spot, that’s a long wait. It was absolutely worth the wait. And I was glad to have my black cherry VS to cover my head. -
