What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I can't seem to keep up, I don't recall seeing this Beauty! Does this have a label? Please post more of this jacket. This must be new too? I can see the zipper is a Conmar with the middle of the pull cut out? This would be a Wartime zipper. You must post more.

All the picture above were taken with a Sony Nex5 camera. These are a few years old. When I got a smart phone I started using it. The smart phone is convenient and can do a lot of processing quickly and go right to the net. but, the Sony takes better pictures and especially video. The...

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

This beauty is on the way. The lining reminds me of early Schott jackets for the 30s. They seem to only exist in books. There is one very similar in the Schott book. some differences, but very close. The leather looks amazing and very clean Condition. May be a bit small.

Glover of Dubuque, Iowa. I have a couple of other Glover jackets. They were a high quality outerwear maker. This one looks very interesting and in fine condition. Always amazed to find a jacket like this for thrift store prices!

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

What little "new" wool I have seen does not compare with these 40s jackets. They came in a large variety of colors and weights. I'm no expert of wool, but they sure are warm. I'm more comfortable wearing a wool jacket inside than a leather one. I could layer quite easily under this wool...
