Yet another beauty. Love the logo and the texture on the sweatband…and the wide ribbon.
You’ve been collecting hats & hat memorabilia for some time, then!!:D
I've only ever owned one, and that was at the start of my hat journey. It was a cheap Bailey Litefelt wool hat, and once I got myself a couple of decent hats, I came to the conclusion that it looked terrible on me. It wasn't until I saw a Steve's one that I ever really considered another. Do...
I’m not surprised your Pork Pies are so popular. I seriously considered getting you to make one for me after seeing the one you made for @Steve1857. I believe that one was also a Tonak felt, but with a bit wider brim. It was a great advertisement for your hats in general, and your Pork Pies...
My third Schott. Another bought on the second hand market here in Japan.
This one is a size up from the other two. I bought with the intention of wearing more layers under it. It felt really big when I tried it without the liner attached. It’s not too bad with the liner attached, but the...
Exactly what I was thinking. I don’t own a Stetson in Caribou, but I tried one on in a hat shop a year or two back, and my first thought on seeing this was how different the colour was to the one I tried.
Nice looking hat, though, but I do tend to agree with you re the hat band.
Thank you, all. The Strat is not in pristine condition (John was upfront about that when he sold it to me), but I like it a lot. Definitely an excellent addition to my collection.
As for the new look, Etsuko’s finally getting used to the shaved head. I don’t think she’s a fan of the goatee...
Yes, I might have one or five in my collection, but it’s my old ones (Stetson Custom V and Borsalino Debrosan, both from other loungers) that hold pride of place in my collection. And please, save us all from the abomination of your version of a haka!
What a week it’s been! Here, on the Post New Hats Here thread, and on the What Hat are you Waiting For thread.
Now I’ve come a long way and picked up a few nice hats since I started, but looking at the posts from this week alone, I feel almost as much as a beginner as I did at the start!
Kudos...
We had a big event at school today. An international exchange between my 5th graders and some visiting Korean students. I’ve been putting a lot of time and effort into the preparation. It was a big success, so celebrating with a fancy Lithuanian beer that I enjoy a lot. I might treat myself...
