Fantastic finish Reggie. Mike Miller builds the best hats!
Love the Playboy!
Great looking stiff felt. Love that liner logo! It looks like pre-war for sure.
I am lucky to be just down the road about 45 minutes from Eugene. I try to get in on a regular basis. Sometimes I order a hat, and others, just visit. I do get to see everyone's hats from time to time. I fondle as many as I can.
Sometimes you find a hat with no redeeming qualities other than it turns into a 'grab and go' favorite. This Hat City Hat Co. cheap quality is such an animal. The felt it OK, but nothing special, other features are telling of a very low end hat of the late 50s period. Probably no more than $5...

Perfect brim for you at 2 3/4". That stitching is what makes this hat. love that color, I don't wear much green, but I would buy a whole new wardrobe to match this one!
One of my favorite series by Dobbs. I think someone (maybe Anthony Amodeo) posted a picture of the Hanover Square in NYC a while back. Love this one, looks soft and pliable.
Love everything about your two new hats. Bone is super scary color, worry about anything that gets near it to stain. That heather Tonak might be worth a trip down to Mike's to commission a new hat. Super.
