    You can use heavy duty paper clips to keep the fold where you want it while it's drying. Just use some old credit cards (or similar hard plastic) between the metal clip and the leather, or else the imprint will be permanent.

    ^^ Respectfully disagree. Nothing wrong with asking for collective advice. It can cost lots of time and money seeking things out, and then trying them out. PS - I would very likely never gotten the Silverman's N-1 if it wasn't for your advice!!! A very unique product.
