Maybe this picture makes it more blatant than it really is? The grain looks very nice andthe jacket is simple to better showcase the grain of that bullhide.
I think it could look good with a t-shirt and a decent pair of blue jeans.
It does look too try hard on the website though
It is bullhide I think. It feels moderately pliable, and super tough.
No plans from my side, it is a project that they are currently exploring.
Oh yes, they have a lot of interesting hides, decades of collecting!
Yes indeed. I wonder how it would feel wearing both. It really depends on how well you can move in them. The cod liver tanned jacket is currently my daily wearer, it is the jacket with the thickest hide I have, yet it is very comfortable and softening up quickly to boot. Then again it is elk...
For those curious about the super heavy leather jacket that Wildfang is potentially making, here is a pic of a swatch of the hide
The hide is 4.5mm, you can see £1 coins for reference.
4.5mm translates to 12oz.
No need to view it as work, it will be your most wanted jacket. Just enjoy wearing it as much as you can.
It is not dissimilar to a new pair of shoes that you love and need to break in.
Good point, yes.
I can imagine this item being the one thar people would customise if it is a thing in said hobby. Such as adding studwork or painting something on a schott perfecto, modifying the GTI, etc.
I did notice there is a lot of superstition going on in the audiophile world. I read somewhere that some enthusiasts beleived that putting some sort of marker in CDs would make them sound better lol
Certainly more superstition than what some people put into shinki these days...:p
Maybe we should try organising one this year... what do you guys think?
That would be great! An audio conversation would fit in this forum.
I would love that personally :D
If you were to bring up the topic of a biker jacket in conversation, most people would likely envision a Perfecto, wouldn't they? Similarly, the mention of a motorcycle jacket might conjure images of modern riding gear. Just a thought that occurred to me while writing. Here in the Fedora Lounge...
