wow, what a nice horse hide that is if it's even more supple and drape even better than the Canetto cowhide. it shouldn't take much time at all, the leather is very forgiving and quite easy to wear. Wow that's so cool, you can interchange multiple colored collar for 2 jackets. That's a lot of...
Welcome here and thanks for posting and sharing your new jacket/experience. If you don't love it, best return it if you still can. I don't know much about how an A2 should fit but this jacket does not look flattering on you. In the last photo, you can see the shoulders are droopy and the back is...
If you are close to Tony's they might be a great option since you can pick the leather you want and it's a bespoke measurement so it will be tailored to you as there's a dedicated thread here about that maker and the work looks amazing. I'm sure there are higher end retailers there so you can...
ooh got it, i thought that was Buffalo. wow that's surprising that you note that the Canetto is stiffer, the Thedi I have is my softest jacket in my closet so that first jacket of yours must be super supple for a horse hide. the graining is insane, it's so different from what I currently have...
Thanks @Nickelman2005 Greg at Field Leathers does excellent work.
thanks Stefan, love the cross zip now for sure! can't wait to see your green overdye project someday!
thank you, I just hope to keep within the same weight range so I can keep wearing my jackets. yes I will since it's one of...
thanks brother! no problem at all, I find watching the actual jacket making process quite fascinating. I'm sure other people too and aspiring jacket makers are for sure taking notes how to make a jacket from start to finish. Quite brilliant and generous of Greg to share his work and talent...
love the coppers, I conditioned mine with Saphir mink oil and the leather turned brown lol it still shows orange on the creases but I misss having the whole look of it pre conditioning the boots

Congrats @nickv, that jacket with 2 sets of detachable collar is just too nice. I'm late to the party but I'm glad that you are keeping the jacket as is. I am in favor of shorter jacket lengths for leather/denim jackets so I found the fit photos looking quite ideal so I hope the look/fit...
Aero just calls it differently in house, the sheene is basically a cafe racer with a collar/the seven is a board racer with a collar/the Ridley is a slim fit J106 and can all be ordered directly from Aero.
thank you! love this piece a lot but can't wait to get my own black pony next year lol
thanks man, hope you get yours soon!
thanks Justin! you know it lol it's been a while since I got excited receiving a jacket.
thanks! hope you had a good trip in Hawaii
thanks Marc, the brown pony is like...
Greg was also able to place studs to the collar so the jacket will be able to accept the detachable collar he made for me a while back. Very happy with how this project turned out, I can't wait to receive my 5th jacket from Greg next December.
Successfully and safely taken receipt of my 4th FL jacket and this new brown pony aviator/MC cross zip has become an instant favorite. I asked Greg to make this slightly longer in the body compared to my modified black Manhattan J24. Also Greg made the front drop slightly curved to make it more...
Love the outfit, the jacket really suits you. you need to follow it up with a brown one next time! hope you didn't have much problems after getting the booster
the brass with the black pony is a perfect combination. great seeing another FL custom! you have a great headache as far as picking the right black jacket to wear lol congrats on another master piece
congrats on getting your brown Mulholland. it definitely has an edge to it, even more so than the black one.
well deserved! that really has a nice shape to it, it's what an ideal fit should look like. JL has a knack for this type of pattern like what they made for @red devil
