I own two jackets made from Horween Vermont Expresso (Johnson Leather) very durable and wearable Horsehide, and if it sticks our weather here in Ireland it is good to go anywhere. Highly Recommended.
unbelievable. I really feel very sorry for one family in all of this, the true owners of the clothing. The stress to them in all this must have been unbearable.
I wonder how they fit, run small or large in their sizing? I assume Deerskin has a matt finish to its leather rather than their high glass Horsehide? Love the look.
do we ever get a climate suitable for leather jackets, you USA guys it too hot for them, and here in Ireland its too cold and wet, lol in saying that Butte, what a fantastic jacket, sorry i am a bit slow catching up on posts.
If you are talking about customer satisfaction Alan Johnson at Johnson leather is one of the best out there for service, advice and professionalism and a genuine nice guy as well. He made me two fantastic jackets in Horween Vermont Expresso Horsehide. Cant speak highly enough about him, and...
I have handled their jackets, it has the effect of a high gloss plastic paint finish, the pictures don't show the actual texture. Also look at Genco in Japan, and pick a 40" for example, and look at the Dustbowl, Caboose, and Brakeman and the sizing for shoulder, chest and arms are all...
Freewheelers sizing is all over the place, if you are a 40" or any size for that matter, most of their jackets have different shoulder, chest sizes etc. You buy from Japan its your with no return also if it does fit. RMC offer returns from their shop for instance in NYC and London. Their sizing...
I have handed Freewheelers Shinki, it looks like to me anyway, they are finished with plastic paint on the surface or heavy oil that's my concern and certainly not my taste. I would rather have leather from Horween or skins from top tanneries out of Italy, just personal taste I guess.
Does anyone here have experience as to the pesronal fitting of the Freewheelers Switchyard coat, just Freewheelers sizing is all over the place. I am normally a 40" but this jacket seems a good fit at 38" any advice greatly appreciated.
