punt on I think you're right (tho no offense intended -- but perhaps confusing). There is something about your hat that makes it seem a little less formal than a regular boater. A couple of Homburg questions
Homburgs These hats are made by Biltmore of Canada (at least mine is). They have quite a selection of brim styles -- I bought a "Prince Albert" which has the wider, flatter brim that I was seeking.
