Oh I so would except that I'm afraid it's a little too formal for the wedding - it really is a pretty casual event (even if my "date" is wearing his dress uniform...lol). Sorry for the disjointed pictures, I'm not too handy with the self-timer. But here is my gorgeous hand-made dress I found for $5 (!!) at a thrift store. The beading needs a bit of loving restoration, but it's the most beautiful flame color and it is otherwise in exquisite condition. And it fits...- katylouise

While trawling through vintage patterns on ebay I came across this: Despite being 3 buttons, this looks eerily like my jacket...does anyone recognize the time period of this Simplicity pattern?
