My dad made fun of me when I first started. He's a total 60's child so he didn't get it. When I introduced him to my husband for the first time, he laughed and said something like "So I guess you are into this thing too" Haha...whatever. Yeah read through some of those posts, you'll find that...
....Doesn't mean I am trying to look like Bettie Page! Every time I get my bangs cut the comments start. It got me to thinking, about the numerous times I have had someone tell me that I don't look like her in an informative manner (as if I am supposed to be terribly disappointed and surprised)...
I have a funny story about Mrs. Horne! It was at the car show last Viva and I was standing there hanging out with my husband and friends, when this girl comes up to me and tucks my tag in the back of my outfit. She was like, "I saw you standing here and you look so cute, but your tag was...
I thought about that for a minute, but what throws me is there are some girls on there who are pretty well established, like Cherry Dollface and a few others. I am "in between" not an amateur but not well known by any means.
I am just going to move on and forget about it anyway. I could sit...
No, really it's just a place for everyday girls who are aspiring pinups to come and "be approved" to be a part of the community. Most of them don't have their own website or anything.
Hey, VintageBetty....
Thanks for such a long thoughtful post.
I probably should have posted the exact pics that I sent to Pinuppost.com, so here they are:

^ I met her and Dayna Delux at Viva last year and they were both really sweet. I've always liked Frankie's look too.
Thanks for all the responses, girls. Some days are better than others, and we all have those times where we are feeling discouraged about things. I've just been having a rough...
^ True.
....but, I can't believe how big the pinup/burlesque thing has blown up in the past few years. There are just SO MANY GIRLS that are aspiring hopefuls to be "pinups" it's just so discouraging. At this point I am about to give up. There are just too many girls. It's all about who you...
Thanks, girls. It becomes really discouraging. I think the guy on Pinuppost.com chooses girl who are "established" and are sexy.....I guess I just don't have enough recognition under my belt or I am not showing enough skin.
I feel too that I am just not SEXY enough. It seems alot of these...
Just a few samples....

Ok, well I think your problem may not be Titanium Dioxide. If it is, then unfortunately you may not be able to use most foundations, because like I said before, there is no such thing as absolutely 100% TD-free.
I really think your problem may be perfumes, lanolin, petrolatum, mineral oil or...
Hey Dolls,
So, major rejection my way lately:( I've been turned down for Pinuppost.com and a pinup community on Livejournal. I thought my last shoot was great and the best pics yet! I would really love to post some of them here and get some opinions of what I may be doing wrong. Anyone interested?
Are you going to wear that dress, only in black? I would stay away from white and definitely wear black or something with a pattern like the flowered dress. I just really think those would be more flattering on you and compliment your skin tone/har color too.
White is a hard color to wear...
Blondie, I forgot to ask before? How did you come to the conclusion that it is definitely the TD that is causing the problem? Did a dermatologist tell you? I was just wondering. Can you give me a quick rundown of what products you have tried?
Not sure if you are open to the idea, but have you thought about cutting your hair? I don't mean whack it all off, but 3 or 4 inches?
The reason I am saying this is because a alot of the vintage styles are meant for shorter hair. If you go and take a look at old photos of styles and diagrams for...
