Thanks for your praise guys :-)
All the more valuable to me as you have probably come across many more quality jackets than me !
To answer ButteMT61's question, yes the lining is in wool.
I can't refuse anything to forum members thanks to whom I learnt so much these last months ;)

Since I have received my ELC Roadmaster in brown 2 days ago, I will supply this wonderful Forum, where I have learnt so much about leather jackets, and thanks to which I have finally pulled the trigger for my first Horsehide high-quality jacket, with my first significant contribution ;)...
Thanks a lot for your detailed review !
I have ordered this same jacket one month ago, in walnut brown.
Being 5'11", 180lbs, 42' chest, 33.5 waist, I knew I was in between a 42 and 44 in size, but after a quick call to ELC, and couple of e-mails, I opted eventually for a size 42...
Well, I have recently tried to gather some information about this jacket in this not-so-old thread : http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?69783-Eastman-Roadmaster&highlight=roadmaster

Anyway I pulled the trigger already, for a brown...
Hello,
For some time now I have been lurking pictures of Buco J-23 / J-24 jackets (or D-pocket jackets since they seem to be known under that label as well). I must say that I find their design absolutely awesome, and the idea of purchasing one is growing slowly on me.

I think it is time to update this thread with some new information...

So...
Thanks everyone for your contribution.
I have to say I am a bit confused after the messages from Rudie (and Metatron as well). Now I am wondering if I have to specify a more tapered cut at the waist and even possibly at the chest level in case I opt for a size 40, as you Rudie suggested...
Thanks both of you for your replies.
Grayland, your feed-back is really useful to me : since I am slightly taller and bigger than you, I guess the "too-tight" feeling with a size 38 would be even worse for me. If the jacket is trim but is not comfortable, I will not wear it with pleasure...
Hello All,
After having looked for almost 10 years for the perfect leather jacket (I am 31), I finally stumbled on this wonderful Lounge and gathered a lot of priceless information from all the experts and the connoisseurs contributing regularly to the forum.
So this is my first message...
