    so when I look at this site https://www.bates-hats.com/products/hat-burlington-bitterbrown and it says 11cm / 110mm crown, that is the bashed size and not the unaashed size? :)

    Yes 2 1/4 brim width is the 57mm's...how far the brim sticks out.
