Hi roadierfl, definitely a creepy flick. Unsettling, unnerving..etc. I haven't seen The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, the title sounds very Dario Argento inspired. I'll have to check it out!

I'm a die-hard Sherlock Holmes fan, and I didn't last 10 minutes into the Hollywood movie...it irked me! *lol* As a avid reader of the A. Doyle novels and stories, I just couldn't swallow this flick! I have heard that the BBC series is good, people seem to really enjoy it!

Hi there kymeratale! I did indeed get them at Naturalizers. They were on sale for $49 I believe. They also have some other *VERY* cute shoes there. ;0

I wear either a dress or skirt each day, to work and otherwise. Usually one piece is vintage, or my accessories at least. The last time I even owned a pair of pants was 18 years ago! Doubt they'd fit now...oop! :(

Hi ladies, a question: is there a 'Show Us Your X-mas Presents' thread or something like that? Vintage items that aren't purchases per se. I did a search, no luck. Just curious and love seeing everyone's items!

A good choice, classic. I haven't read it in years. I especially love Dickens ghost stories ('The Signal-Man' and such). I'm reading 'A Christmas Carol' currently and some of his short stories.

I drank some yummy things over the holidays: hard cider, ice wine, Fruli (beer), red wine, champagne...:) Didn't have any drinks on New Year's eve though. :( Will need a drink tonight, as it's my first day back at work! Eeek!
